Basic Training is a 2-day course designed to familiarize the student with the StressCheck graphic user interface and provide an introduction to the p-version finite element method (p-FEM). The student will obtain a basic knowledge of 2D and 3D model construction techniques, learn how to execute a linear solution and perform a wide range of post-processing operations. In addition, the student will recieve lectures covering the fundamental concepts of the p-FEM that include meshing, applying boundary conditions and quality assurance procedures. Basic training is a prerequisite to advanced training workshops listed below.Advanced TrainingAdvanced training workshops are available for each of the following topics:Nonlinear AnalysisFracture MechanicsLaminated CompositesApplication Development using Toolkit FEAThese workshops can be customized or built around a specific problem of interest to you. Additional charges may apply.Training PolicyESRD offers training on-site (at your facility) or at our facility. Training classes or workshops held at ESRD facilities require a minimum class size of two students.
