Minimum HARDWARE configuration for installation of StressCheck 8.0 or later

1 GB Random Access Memory (RAM) or more

4 GB free disk storage or more

2 GB virtual memory (swap space) or more

NOTE: Operational efficiency of StressCheck is very dependant upon the amount of RAM.  The more memory that you provide, the better StressCheck will perform.  1 GB of RAM is sufficient for performing a linear analysis on 3D models having fewer than 5000 elements.  The amount of virtual memory should be at least 2 times the amount of RAM.

Minimum SOFTWARE configuration for installation of StressCheck 8.0 or later

Windows XP, Windows VISTA (other Windows operating systems may operate satisfactorily, but are not explicitly supported)

Internet Explorer 6.0 or later (DLL's and OCX's required)

Adobe Reader 6.0 required to read Help menu documentation files in pdf format.

NOTE: Floating licenses require Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003 as the license server.
