Fiber Weave Representative Volume Element (RVE) Sim App
Abstract: A Sim App concept for a fiber weave representative volume element (RVE) model is presented. By utilizing the parameter-controlled StressCheck Handbook model, equivalent orthotropic lamina (ply) properties can be developed (either by hand or automatically via the StressCheck API) using a heterogeneous elastic material-based homogenization technique.

For some geometries, industry solutions are either insufficient or nonexistent.
