A new Simulation Governance (SimGov)-oriented article by ESRD’s Dr. Barna Szabo and Dr. Ricardo Actis, titled “Planning for Simulation Governance and Management – Ensuring Simulation is an Asset, not a Liability”, is available to read in the July 2021 issue of NAFEMS Benchmark magazine.
Recently, Wiley published the second edition of “Finite Element Analysis: Method, Verification and Validation” by ESRD Co-Founders Dr. Barna Szabo and Dr. Ivo Babuška as part of their “Wiley Series in Computational Mechanics”. This edition provides an updated and comprehensive review of the theoretical foundation of the finite element method, and provides engineering students and professionals the tools, concepts, techniques, and procedures that help with an understanding of finite element analysis.
ESRD is pleased to announce that we’ve released StressCheck Professional v11 Update 1. In addition to all the improvements introduced with the release of StressCheck v11, in Update 1 we have optimized the Solve and Results panes for maximum efficiency and improved user flow.

This webinar, hosted by ESRD partner Revolution in Simulation, will present a case study in which the goal was the development of a mathematical model for supporting condition-based maintenance (CBM) decisions.
With the release of StressCheck v11 in December 2020, ESRD unveiled a significantly improved user interface experience, a voluminous online documentation portal, and a re-written Getting Started Guide with a companion video tutorial. In addition, we’ve revamped our Getting Started page, with helpful links for member registration, licensing & installation, the basics of StressCheck usage, and other key links & resources. In short, it’s never been easier to learn StressCheck!
In late February 2021, ESRD’s CAE Handbook was officially added to the Altair Partner Alliance (APA). CAE Handbook provides an elegant and intuitive framework for deploying StressCheck-powered digital handbook solutions.
In case you missed it, we are pleased to announce that we’ve released product updates for StressCheck Professional and StressCheck-Powered Apps! Many customer-defined enhancements were added, and the software user experience improved.
