What CAD Formats And Versions Are Supported in StressCheck Professional?
With the release of StressCheck v11.1, StressCheck Professional can natively import Parasolid files of versions ranging from 9.0 to 32.1. Other CAD formats require licensed translators.
The following CAD formats and versions are supported in StressCheck Professional’s implementation of the Spatial 3D Interop 2021 1.0.1 translator libraries:
|Formats||File Formats||Supported Version(s)|
|CATIA V4||.model, .exp, .session||4.1.9 – 4.2.4|
|CATIA V5||.CATPart, .CATProduct||V5 R8 to V5-6 R2021|
|3DExperience (CATIA V6)||.CATPart, .CATProduct||Up to V6 R2021|
|IGES||.igs, .iges||Up to 5.3|
|Parasolid||.x_t, .x_b||9.0 – 32.1|
|Pro/E / Creo||.prt, .prt.*, .asm, .asm.*||16 – Creo 7.0|

Note: CATPart files created in V5 R8 or earlier that have been opened and re-saved in a later version of CATIA V5 are not supported for 3D InterOp Graphical and 3D InterOp CGM.
Note: CATIA V6 users should export their database objects as CATIA V5 CATParts, CATProducts, XCGM, or as 3D XML, which can then be imported into applications using InterOp.
